24-story heights - 'just in time' for the world famous New Years Eve, Times
Square Ball Drop. The NYGÅRD brand is showcased from DEC-05
through 2006 @ Times Square, NY on the world's largest digital screens - The
NASDAQ screen, the largest single screen in the world - as well as the Toys
"R" Us, MTV, CBS, Discover Card & 6 other strategically placed
screens!
These
enormous screens, 'The Big Picture(s)', span 28 stories & overlook the media
crossroads of the world. They were seen from Grand Central Station to the
East & Central Park to the North! Every year millions of people from
around the world watch the globally televised 'ball drop' signalling the
beginning of a New Year ... NYGÅRD was part of this time honoured tradition -
as he wished 'millions' of his closest friends "Happy New Year"!

Peter Nygård says the timing for his largest ever Ad Campaign is
perfect - "it showcased our New USA National Brand Initiative --
& the commencement of the construction of our NEW World Headquarters
in Times Square."

The NYGÅRD Brand campaign has been submitted for the '2006 OBIE
Award'! And according to Outdoor
Advertising Assoc of America, "the 'OBIE Award' is outdoor
advertising’s greatest honor. It recognizes excellence in the medium
some call the most difficult to create for. The OBIE is great outdoor, the
benchmark by which all creative is measured, the visual guideline to
emulate."
The NYGÅRD Brand campaign will continue to run in 2006 & will
culminate JUN 1st during the official Grand Opening of NYGÅRD's New World
