SAT DEC2-06 -- Hundreds attended renowned designer Peter Nygård's special appearance at Dillard's Post Oak Mall in Houston TX, where he personally showcased the Peter NYGÅRD & NYGÅRD Collection Holiday 2006 collections.

Following the NYGÅRD fashion show Peter Nygård met with his guests for a special autograph signing.


Port Arthur Mayor Oscar Ortiz honoured Nygård by presenting him with the Key to the City of Port Arthur, TX & NOV29 was proclaimed "Peter Nygård Day".

As part of the Houston tour stop, Nygård was invited to be a guest on television show Great Day Houston to discuss his incredible "rags-to-riches" story, the partnership with Dillard's & his latest fashions which have recently been featured in a national print campaign in InStyle, Vanity Fair & VOGUE magazines.

The fashion show featured guest models who were proud breast cancer survivors, as part of the company's ongoing international campaign to increase awareness & support of the deadly disease. "Breast cancer is our corporate charity of choice, not just during breast-cancer awareness month in OCT but 12 months of the year," says Peter Nygård.

As part of the continued campaign, an exclusive one-of-a-kind gown, originally designed for Beverly Peele, is up for auction. The retail value of the gown is $2,600.
