- One Year Later SEP11-02 sadly marks the One
Year Anniversary of the SEP11 attacks -- We will NEVER forget. We at Nygård
are Proud to be your (American) Neighbor, business partner & your best
friends - We are appreciative of everything that the United States of America
has done for this World.
NY Governor Pataki: "September 11, that date will live in peoples'
hearts and minds for generations just as the date December 7th will never be
forgotten even by those who were not alive at the time it happened. It was a
day when we saw the worst of humanity engage in the worst form of barbarism
and we saw New York, the best of New York, respond with the unbelievable
courage and willingness to sacrifice. That makes this a unique place in the
greatest country in the world and it's
appropriate on the first anniversary of that horrible day that we reflect,
pause and honor the memory of the 2,800 heroes who died in response to that
act of barbarism."
Remembrance, prayer & candle light vigils will commence throughout New
York, Boston, Pennsylvania & the Pentagon. We extend our sympathy to the
families of the victims of 9/11 & pay tribute to the heroes. A brief
timeline (EST) of 'SEP11... In Memory & Sadness'. 846a - Five pipe & drum
processionals originating from all five areas towards the WTC site, the moment
when the first of the twin towers was struck by the first hijacked airliner. A
moment of silence followed by the reading of the Gettysburg address by
Governor Pataki, the reading of the names by former Mayor Giuliani, Taps and a
reading of an excerpt of the 'Declaration of Independence' by Governor
McGreevey.
1029a - The memorial will conclude
at 1029a EST, which is the moment when the second of the twin towers
collapsed. A nation wide moment of silence followed by Houses of worship
tolling their bells at that time. On SEP11-02 at 1029a EST - please take a
moment of silence in memory of the victims on SEP11-01.

vigil and the lighting of an 'Eternal Flame' at the Sphere in Battery Park.
Reading of the Four Freedoms by Mayor Bloomberg. Everyone is encouraged to
join the vigils at the parks or light candles outside their homes.
Please proudly hang the USA Flag on SEP11 - as the USA flag is a symbol of
'National Unity'. I
am the Flag of the United States of America. We Stand
UNITED with America & "to the Republic for which it stands, one
Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all". We must
ALL join the global coalition of civilized nations to persevere in this fight
against terrorism - We will PREVAIL.
Immediately after 9/11, we established the Nygård corporate campaign to
encourage everyone to 'Stand UNITED' & to encourage everyone that we must
keep the resolve, stay vigilant, courageous, compassionate & help thy
neighbor. We have dedicated a UNITED with AMERICA against TERRORISM! In
